Food and service was great! Best meal I've had in 3 months. We got donkatsu and ginseng soup! Both delicious!

Their famous ginseng chicken soup was pretty good. The chicken wings and chicken katsu were amazing-- lightly fried and delicious. They need another server on a Friday night, the poor lady was a one woman show greeting customers at the door, taking orders, cleaning tables, hosting, all by herself. She looked frantic but still had a smile on her face. We arrived at 5:30 pm and it filled up fast an hour later. I would recommend coming early if you don't want to wait. Tables were cramped as it's a smaller space.

Authentic Korean chicken soup and options are good. Great options for winter time. More family style and the speed to get foods is fast.

We have been coming for a few years. The recent price increase is a little ridiculous. Food is good but does not match the price. For the same price, you could go to a price with better ambiance and better food. I will not be returning.

I called and placed a pick up order for the chicken noodle soup which is basically chicken kalguksu. I've been looking for a place in SJ that serves that chicken kalguksu but I haven't been very successful in my search. This is the only place so far that I've found that has it on the menu. The chicken noodle soup is delicious! The broth was exactly what I was searching for with a lot of umami and not too watery (like an American chicken noodle soup). I also liked the addition of shitake mushrooms which did a great job of soaking up the flavor of the chicken broth. The serving is quite generous so it took me 2 sittings to finish the soup! The soup also comes with a side of kimchi and fermented radish. Just to give others an FYI though, when you order the chicken noodle soup to-go, the noodles are mixed in with the broth so you should definitely eat the soup after ordering it to-go! I would definitely come back here for the chicken noodle soup!

The best samgyetang I've had next to my moms. The broth is so soothing and the chicken is so tender you can eat everything including the soft bones. Whether you're sick or not, this soup gets you feeling so revived. 100% recommend

I have been looking for a samgyetang restaurant for the longest time and I am overjoyed in finding this one. The waiter was a really nice old man that was so polite and accommodating! I would return alone just for him. The samgyetang was delicious with sweet flavors from the date and the sticky rice inside the chicken was bomb. We ordered extra rice because we were very hungry and the rice came with corn, which was fun. Really fun to eat in a hot summer day or cold fall night. If you are searching for a samgyetang place this is it.
